With a Wellnes Defender system you are not locked into a proprietary set of cartdiges and each system can tailored at any point in time to meet varying water quality issues, such as new treatment chemicals that may be added from time to time by your water supplier.

Because incoming water quality can vary over the course of a year filter cartridges can sometimes need replacing before their recommended replacement cycle.

All units in the Defender Series incorporate a comprehensive Cartridge Pressure Monitoring system.  Each cartridge is monitored by a Pressure Guage that measures incoming line pressure and pressure drop over each cartridge.

At a glance this system will tell you if there is a problem with incoming line pressure or if a cartridge has been prematurely blocked and needs replacing.

This one feature takes the guesswork out knowing whether a cartridge needs to be changed. It is a great time saver that eliminates the need for technical knowledge and reduces filter downtime.

The Defender has been designed to make replacing cartridges as simple as changing a lightbulb.

In four steps a cartridge can be replaced in just a few minutes. No technical expertise is required, you don't even need to shut-off the water supply. Once the cartridges to be changed have been identified using the handy Cartridge Check system all you need to do is follow these four simple steps.

Step 1. By-Pass Simply turn the handle on the Ball-Valves and the system is placed into By-Pass mode.	Step 2. De-pressurise Open the Pressure Relief valve and excess water pressure will vent from the system.	Step 3. Replace Take the Wrench, unscrew the cartridge housing, remove the used cartridge and replace.	Step 4. Turn-on Open the By-Pass valve and the system is ready to go.

Annual cartridge changes can be completed in as litlte as five minutes. The best part is NO PLUMBER is required, saving you time and money.
